Top Film & Television Apps on Android in France, Q1 2025

In the first quarter of 2025, the Film & Television category on the Android platform in France saw significant activity among its top apps. Here’s a look at the performance trends for the leading applications, based on data from Sensor Tower.

Disney+ exhibited a notable rise in weekly revenue, peaking at approximately $516K in mid-March. Downloads initially spiked at around 64K in the second week of January but gradually declined to about 18K by the end of March. Active users fluctuated, starting at 1.4M and closing the quarter at roughly 1M.

Netflix maintained a steady download rate, starting with 55K in early January and settling around 24K by the end of March. The app's active user base slightly decreased from 4.1M to about 3.5M over the quarter.

TF1+ : Streaming, TV en Direct showed consistent revenue throughout the quarter, reaching a peak of around $60K in early March. Downloads peaked at 37K in January before declining to 22K by the end of March. The active user count varied, reaching a high of 1.4M in mid-March.

Prime Video saw an increase in revenue, hitting a high of $463K in the second week of March. Downloads started at 42K and decreased to 19K by the quarter's end. The active user base began at 1M and ended at approximately 817K.

PlutoTV: Live TV & Free Movies experienced stable downloads, beginning at 40K and ending around 18K. Active users showed a positive trend, starting at 289K and steadily increasing to nearly 291K by the end of March.
